Greetings visitors and welcome to my site! It is a pleasure to have your attention as we here at www.trendsetterpey.weebly.com make it our duty to entertain you. My name is Peyton Nigel Chambers, and I am a Freshman Business Marketing major attending Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. As a native of Atlanta, I felt Morehouse would provide me with a sound business background and the proper connections I need to pursue a career in business marketing (primarily entrepreneurship). Business, for me, basically came naturally for me (laughs). I've been claiming entrepreneurship since I was about 6 years old, however I didn't actually take action in it until middle school. I attended a nation-wide charter school named Kipp, a highly recognized program across the nation. It was at Kipp where I discovered a love for the arts, especially music. The first song I ever recorded took place in 6th grade at the Boys and Girls Club and featured my brother and our best friends. A year later, my best friend DeAlo Mack and I started our own music group along with associate Chris Williams named CDP (Chris, DeAlo, Peyton). From there, we basically took off with support from our entire grade and band teacher Arthur Washington. Soon after, Washington became our primary producer, and the four of us spent time in the studio almost every saturday. Unfortunately, DeAlo had to leave that following year so Chris and I were stuck on our next move. I then took it upon myself to start another group called Lavish Lyfe Kidz which included Chris and various kids from the grade below us. Once that happened, the entire school knew who Lavish Lyfe was. We were even requested by our principal to do a song for our graduation ceremony. From Kipp, I graduated onto Marist School, a private Catholic school on the north perimeter of Atlanta. Though I was in the minority, I still was highly respected for my music. In 10th grade, I was approached by a few seniors to do a song for our football team titled "Maybe Next Year." It made over 10,000 views in two days; I can proudly say it was one of the biggest marks of my so called career. In addition to me handling business with music, I was selected into a business program at the University of Georgia, one of the best business schools in the nation. There, I received a couple of first place team effort awards with regards to business operations and financial management. I also participated in a couple of internships at Georgia Tech which focused on critical thinking, entrepreneurship and computer programming. Through all, I want to take an entrepreneurial route because I'm a free spirit and creative thinker who can't sit in front of a desk for long and doesn't like to take orders from any boss. I hope I painted at least some kind of idea about who I am, where I've been, and where I plan to go. Thanks again for visiting my site, I hope to see you again soon. Enjoy.
